Volunteer Services for Animals

About Volunteer Services for Animals

Volunteer Services for Animals (VSA) financial assistance information is available from the VSA  24/7 phone line 401-273-0358, the VSA website, referrals from veterinarians and Humane Groups, and word of mouth. Once communication is established, the process continues by emailing vsaheadquarters@yahoo.com.

Assistance can vary depending on VSA's resources. VSA has permanently authorized Potter League Pets in Need Veterinary Clinic and Rhode Island SPCA Animal Health Center clinics to apply a $50.00 donation for veterinary treatment wherever it is needed. VSA subsidizes, at request, spay/neuter surgery at the Potter League Spay & Neuter Clinic. VSA works with the small 501(c) (3) community cat and dog rescue groups and individual rescuers providing financial aid for spay/neuter, other surgeries, veterinary care, medicines, animal food, and cat litter.
